This British overseas territory of sits 90 miles south of Cuba in the Caribbean. The nation is comprised of three islands. Grand Cayman is the largest, most visited island with the capital George Town and most of the nation's population. The two sister islands are Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. George Town can be reached in about an hour's flight from Florida. Direct flights from the East Coast are frequent.

Despite a population of 45,00 people, the country is home to nearly 70,000 companies, a result of no direct taxation. The country is also heavily invested in tourism and the residents enjoy a very high standard of living.

While in the Cayman Islands, look for food that hasn't been imported, such as fish and conch. If you enjoy shopping, take home jewelry made of black coral or caymanite, a semi-precious stone.
